Our Story: A New Chapter in Life

Once upon a time in Reims, Fernanda and Alain, two passionate and dynamic entrepreneurs, shared not just a life, but a dream. Fernanda, the founder and manager of the famous pizzeria La Squadra, and Alain, head of the construction company Noisiez, longed for change and shared a deep love for Provence. In their early fifties, they decided to open a new chapter of their lives by creating a unique villa in Provence.

A Renovation Fueled by Passion

Their journey led them to the outskirts of Carpentras, where they found a large property that had been left abandoned after the passing of Lulu, a local figure and resistance leader in the Vaucluse. Once bustling with rabbit hutches, chicken coops, and countless snails, the place was ready for a second life. And so, the Villa de l’Escargolette was born.

For five years, Fernanda and Alain worked tirelessly to renovate the house, pouring their passion into creating a warm and authentic space. For ten years, they personally welcomed guests while living on-site, creating unique connections and building the villa’s reputation as a charming guesthouse, recognized by Gîtes de France

Today, Fernanda and Alain are enjoying their summers traveling in France and abroad. The villa in Provence is now fully dedicated to its guests, offering complete privacy and autonomy during your stay. Whether for a week or two, the villa becomes your own little haven.
